- No - you need to hit Enter or List button to apply filters in any box.
- All - all filter boxes will do on-the-fly filtering.
- Right - only the rightmost filter box will use this mode, the other three will work in a standard way.
You can use two partial match listing modes by enabling them in the
options screen. When using these modes, list of matching records will
be automatically updated as you type in a search pattern. This may lead
to a slowdown depending on your system speed, size of database and the
pattern.
In version 0.4.11 Tobu was changed to show only the columns with the tags that match two or more items—the ones that match just one item will not be shown because they're relatively useless, as they don't allow you to see a set of items by sorting the column—and add too much clutter when many items are listed.

"Views" is a feature that allows you to save a number of filters under
a single name letting you perform combined filtering quicker. It
produces the same effect as entering the filters and pressing
'list'. Under the view menu, you can save, delete, and apply views. For
instance, if you often filter for diary entries made during last month,
you can enter the filter 'diary', then 'mar' for the current month,
then go to views | save and enter 'march diary'. When you go to views
again and choose 'march diary', you will get the list of your items.
